St Albans is located in the Macdonald River Valley which is part of the Hawkesbury region west of Sydney. Work, school and daily lives in this area were impacted by the fires of 2019-20, followed by the COVID 19 pandemic and then the Valley had to deal with heavy rains and flooding.  After all this, tourist accommodation in local guesthouses and B&Bs came to a grinding halt.  

In late 2022, after recovery from the floods and the lifting of COVID 19 restrictions, we began to hear about the difficulties of getting businesses and lifestyles back into some sort of rhythm.  One aspect that suffered was the hospitality industry including housekeeping and laundry services.  Many B&B business owners were taking laundry back into Sydney when they could manage it, but this continued to disrupt their recovery.

We saw an opportunity to step in and offer a local laundry service at a reasonable price that would definitely help add value to the tourism side of the local economy.
